LOGO is the gay and lesbian cable channel. I just switched to Verizon Fios to help my nephew out (he got a job selling it) and now i've got triple the channels, most i didn't know existed (the millitary channel(?) and LOGO is one of them. Not all their programming is great but i notice that they show episodes of Queer as Folk and the L-word so i might tune in for those.

What did you think? I live in Southern California and people were protesting and marching through the streets of West Hollywood until really late in the evening.

Sorry, i got ahead of myself and didn't explain.
Proposition 8 upholds an amendment to the California State Constitution that states that marriage is between a man and a woman only. Google Prop 8 for more info

Here's one article i found:

It's not just the parade but the entire weekend is an event. Not only that we are planning on seeing a few of the museums and some other places that we've wanted to see but just never got around to. I'd like to see and stand around in Haight Ashbury just to be there. But it'll be nice to get away for awhile and look around without an explicit schedule (usually when i travel, there's a schedule to stick to) and finally relax for once. So yeah looking forward to it.

In alot of clubs there are go-go dancers and they're just like part of the atmosphere, i guess. I can take it or leave it. It's really not my thing. It used to make me feel uncomfortable but then i actually talked to the people that are up there (it was the friend of a friend or something) and you know it's just a job and a way to make money. To each his own, i guess.

It's two weeks until SF Pride. Yay! A friend of mine recommended a club to me. Just thought i'd pass it along if anyone ever finds themselves in the area. This place is still open once all the others are closed.

Celia Cruz was a great singer. Is it a sin to like classic Paulina. She is after all a gay icon. Oh, look here she is now:

One of my favorite Paulina songs!

San Francisco Pride was fun! I enjoyed getting away from LA and Long Beach and getting some new scenery. In some ways, SF Pride is a lot like LA Pride, just on a grander scale. There were so many women and it was nice to walk around and look at some of these gorgeous creatures. The parties were fun and my friends and I did some shopping, museum visiting, and vodka tasting. I hope to return next year.
